Collette O' Regan

Irish lesbian working in LGBT community in the northeast of Ireland. Currently completing an MA in Equality Studies and focussing on the lack of inclusion of LGBT students in the primary and post-primary education system. Together with the local LGBT community, I'm hoping my thesis will be the beginning of working with the local schools towards greater inclusion of LGBT students, given that adolescence is such an important time in a person's life and development. I'm seeking good international models of achieving inclusion and equality for LGBT students in education. Hence my interest in being a member of GALE.
