The No Bullying Coalition
Between 2011 and 2016, UNESCO carried out a series of researches on SOGI-related bullying in schools. On 17-18 May 2016, the results were presented at a conference in Paris. The conference closed with separate meeting of government representatives and of civil society representatives. The government officials presented a Call for Action launched by ministers.
At the civil society meeting, the particiants decided to proceed cooperation through a list serv. "No-bullying-coalition". They also decided to carry out an assessment of the impact of the LGBTI education initiatives of UNESCO and other international organizations and how cooperation between civil society and with governments can be enhanced. A "proposal committee" of 20 volunteers is overviewing this assessment. (survey for NGOs, interview format for global stakeholders).
